THE Skoda Ring of Clare race got underway this past weekend, attracting hundreds of cyclists from across the Mid West and the rest of Ireland.
The race is one of the largest in the Mid West, with routes ranging from 120 to 160 kilometres.
Organisers predicted up to 2,000 cyclists taking part in the event, which forms part of the Skoda Celtic Cycle Series, passing some of the West of Irelandโs most impressive beauty spots.
