THE Irish Chamber Orchestra returns to the Kilkenny Arts Festival next month for a very special performance at St Canice’s Cathedral. NIGHT MOVES celebrates endings and beginnings, bidding farewell to Katherine Hunka, who takes her final bow after over two decades of remarkable leadership. Since 2002, Katherine’s warmth, charisma, and artistry have inspired audiences and colleagues alike.
This special concert also welcomes Henning Kraggerud as Artistic Partner of the ICO, marking the start of an exciting new chapter. A renowned soloist and chamber musician, Henning’s emotive, imaginative performances will shape the ICO’s bold musical journey over the next three years.
