UNDER new coach Clayton McMillan, Munster have begun pre-season training at their High Performance Centre (HPC) at the University of Limerick.

New signings JJ Hanrahan, Dan Kelly, and Conor Ryan have joined the squad, while Lee Barron and Ireland international Michael Milne, who were both on loan at the club, have joined full-time.

Fionn Gibbons, Shay McCarthy, Evan Oโ€™Connell, Ruadhรกn Quinn, and Kieran Ryan move up to the senior squad after graduating from the Academy.

Along with Milne, Tom Ahern, Craig Casey, Gavin Coombes, Jack Crowley, Alex Kendellen, and Calvin Nash returned from Portugal two weeks ago after Irelandโ€™s second summer test.

All have started their respective off-seasons.

Brian Gleeson, Diarmuid Kilgallen, and Oโ€™Connell all trained with the Ireland squad this summer and returned to the HPC on Monday.

Tadhg Beirne is on tour with the British and Irish Lions and won the Player of the Match award in the first Test against Australia at the weekend.

In pre-season friendlies, Munster are at Gloucester on September 5 and host Bath at Virgin Media Park, Cork, a week later.
