FOLLOWING on from a strong opening set at last weekโs Seoda Shows Summer Party, Limerick shoegaze outfit Mother of Pearl are set to make their recorded debut with the release of Salt on 1 August. Known for their immersive live shows and lush, textured soundscapes, the band have been gaining traction with their blend of intense guitar work, rich vocal harmonies, and atmospheric depth.
Salt leads the charge for the bandโs forthcoming debut album So Long to Knowing, produced by Aj Das and mastered by Richard Dowling (Paul McCartney, The Waterboys, and Motรถrhead.)
โWe felt Salt was the perfect introduction,โ says lead guitarist Seth Collins. โIt was the first track that really came to life as a jam, with everyoneโs input shaping a sound that truly defines who we are.โ
A staple of their live sets, Salt has already become a fan favourite thanks to its driving basslines, shattering guitar riffs, soaring vocals and sweeping choruses. Itโs a powerful first glimpse into a band unafraid to lean into both beauty and noiseโsetting the stage for what promises to be a thrilling debut record.
