
THE third Twilight Thursday gets underway this week (July 31) with a host of family-friendly events and entertainment across Limerick City to enjoy.
The initiative takes place on the last Thursday of every month and aims to transform Limerick into a thriving night-time destination, providing both locals and visitors alike with memorable experiences.
From 6pm to 8pm this Thursday, families can embark on their usual three bridges and be greeted by face painters, children’s entertainers, and family-friendly activities along the way.
They’ll also find a farm and petting zoo at the Milk Market, accompanied by live music, street food vendors, and local crafts.
The Maker’s Room will host ‘Off the Board’, an event for neurodiverse people to socialise at the Dรณchas cafรฉ from 7.30pm.
Film fans are in for a treat on Roche’s Street with a selection of local short films and popcorn.
Jazz fans can make their way down to Lucky Lane, where The Quarter Dozen will dole out a mellow night of music.
Those feeling the thirst can pop in to Timmy Martin’s to get a snap of the gang on a pint of Guinness before giving stand-up comedy a go at Katie Daly’s Four Corners Comedy Club.
There will be free parking at The Potato Market Car Park from 6pm to 9pm and a 40 per cent discount on rides with FreeNow and Uber when using code TwilightThursdayJuly (Freenow) or TWILIGHTTHURSJUL (Uber).
