LIMERICK is set to receive โฌ32,250 in funding under the 2025 Regional Museums Exhibitions Scheme.
Limerick TD and Minister for Culture, Communications, and Sport, Patrick O’Donovan, announced a series of small grants for local and regional museums around the country of over โฌ190,000.
Funding locally will go to the 90th anniversary of the Irish Met Service at Foynes (โฌ15,000), as well as exhibitions on the Limerick Ladies Football Club (โฌ2,250) and Richard Harris in Limerick (โฌ15,000).
Projects funded under this scheme seek to enhance the cultural offering of museums, to encourage greater access to museums, and to promote the use of museums as tourism resources in their locality or region.
