WHILE 54 teams and 216 golfers took to the fairways for Shannon Chamber’s Golf Classic, top honours could only go to one team and that was Lufthansa Technik Turbine Shannon.
The winning Lufthansa team, comprising Gavin O’Donnell, Daryn Callinan, Colin Sammon, and Kenneth Buckley, were presented with their prizes at a special ceremony in Shannon Golf Club.
The winning foursome received a commemorative plaque, return flights for two for Porto, Madeira, or Madrid, and a Dromoland Castle Golf and Country Club fourball.
