LIMERICK is set to come alive with music, energy, and celebration as Live at the Docklands 2025 launches this Saturday, August 9. Located at Atlas Avenue on the banks of the River Shannon, the much-anticipated music festival will run until August 24, promising an electric fortnight of live performances, parties, and unforgettable moments.
Kicking off the festivities is Moncrieff, who will headline the opening night with support from Le Boom and Simple Things. The show marks the beginning of what organisers describe as their “biggest and best festival yet.”
Presented by Dolans, celebrating 30 years as a cornerstone of Limerick’s live music scene, this year’s line-up is packed with internationally acclaimed acts and fan favourites. Among them are Picture This, The Saw Doctors, Block Rockin Beats, The Waterboys, Kingfishr, Qween, and the ever-popular Kaiser Chiefs, with special guests scheduled throughout the event.
Speaking ahead of the festival, Mick Dolan shared his excitement:
“The work that has gone into making Live at the Docklands happen this year has been phenomenal. The team has done an outstanding job, and we can’t wait to welcome fans to what promises to be our biggest and best festival yet. In addition to the headline shows, Dolans will be hosting pre-show parties on Dolans Terrace each day from 4pm, setting the tone with music, food, and a lively atmosphere. The celebrations won’t stop once the main acts leave the stage either – each night will feature Afterparties with DJ sets and live music, giving fans even more to enjoy.
