Visionary artist and Specsavers celebrated at national awards

The awards take place at the National Concert Hall on Monday, September 8.

OHH no they haven’t! Ohh yes they have! Specsavers Limerick has been shortlisted for its support of University Concert Hall’s annual Panto For All scheme in the 33rd Business to Arts Awards.

And a Limerick craftsman has been commissioned to create a unique piece for presentation to all recipients at the annual national awards.

Panto For All is a heartwarming fundraising initiative by University Concert Hall, in collaboration with sponsor Specsavers Limerick, and panto producer Robert C Kelly.

The annual project aims to offer children and families from across the Mid West region the chance to attendย  the UCH panto for free. It is open to all charitable organisations and groups in Mid West area that support children and families in need.

Award winners at this year’s Business to Arts awards will be presented with a limited edition sculpture commissioned by Business to Arts.

The ‘Genova’ sculpture is created by craftsman Noel Donnellan from County Limerick.

Inspired by Genesis (beginning) and Nova (new), the sculpture’s concept was fittingly developed as a seed growing into something greater.

The stunning ceramic sculpture’s 23-carat gold leaf interior represents the spark of creative potential, nurtured by purposeful partnerships.

The awards take place at the National Concert Hall on Monday September 8.

The annual awards recognise ambitious, innovative, creative partnerships that demonstrate true collaboration and cultural impact. From businesses to philanthropic organisations and individuals, the awards highlight private sector entities that have fostered exceptional partnerships with artists and arts organisations.
