ONE of the great competitors of the sport, proud Limerick man Dermot Morris has won the Men’s Captains Prize at Lahinch Golf Club.
Morris is a longtime member of the famed links course, and also of Limerick GC.
In the nine hole play-off, Morris was level par.
He later birdied the long 18th to win the prize by a single shot from Ronan Mulvihill, with Brendan O’Doherty in third place.
