LIMERICK City and County Council says it is currently developing plans for improved walking and cycle facilities along Ballysimon Road from its junction with Garryglass Roundabout to the Childers Road.
In response to a question from Labour councillor Elena Secas, the Council revealed that plans are at a preliminary stage and have been submitted to the National Transport Authority for review and comment toย pass through their project appraisal guidelines.
Active Travel are anticipating going to public consultation in Q4 2025, the Council told Cllr Secas.
