Gardaí investigating after suspected targeted attack in Limerick pub

Gardaí in Newcastle West are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Gardaí have launched an investigation following a public order incident involving up to a dozen men in a rural County Limerick pub.

The incident happened in Newbridge on Sunday (August 10) at approximately 10pm.

It’s understood the men were armed with knives and bottles, which allegedly contained chemicals .

It is also believed the attack was targeted, and is linked to an ongoing feud in the area among a number of families.

No criminal damage or persons injured has been reported at this time.
