VINTAGE car fanatics will have something to get their engine going this weekend as the first of two ruby anniversary celebrations is to be held by the Limerick Classic and Vintage Car Club.
The club, celebrating 40 years since its founding this year, will host its ‘A Century of Transport’ car and motorcycle display at Honan’s Quay from 12pm on August 17.
Sunday, September 7 will see a classic and vintage car run kick off from the former courthouse in Ballyneety from 10am, with a display of memorabilia showcasing club events from the past 40 years.
