Huge Interpro win for Munster

MUNSTER are bang on course to regain the Womenโ€™s Interprovincial Rugby Championship following a terrific win over holders Leinster 33-22 at Energia Park, Dublin.

The victory comes after a home defeat of Connacht and an anticipated success at Ulster next weekend.

On Saturday, Matt Brownโ€™s team crashed over for five tries courtesy Chloe Pearse (2), Chisom Ugwueru, Kate Flannery, and Aoife Corey.

In an overall Player of the Match display, 19-year-old Caitrรญona Finn also kicked superbly from the tee.

At U19 level, with the last play of the fixture Leinster beat Munster 19-15 at the same venue.ย
