
MUNSTER are bang on course to regain the Women’s Interprovincial Rugby Championship following a terrific win over holders Leinster 33-22 at Energia Park, Dublin.
The victory comes after a home defeat of Connacht and an anticipated success at Ulster next weekend.
On Saturday, Matt Brown’s team crashed over for five tries courtesy Chloe Pearse (2), Chisom Ugwueru, Kate Flannery, and Aoife Corey.
In an overall Player of the Match display, 19-year-old CaitrÃona Finn also kicked superbly from the tee.
At U19 level, with the last play of the fixture Leinster beat Munster 19-15 at the same venue.Â
