YOUTH justice initiatives are making a real difference across Limerick.
That’s according to Limerick TD and Minister of State at the Justice Department, Niall Collins, who said he has helped pushed the government’s youth justice strategy, targeting youth people at risk of coming into contact with the criminal justice system.
He said the strategy’s programmes “have proven to be effective in providing a pathway away from criminality for young people at risk of entering a life of crime”.
“I’ve visited LIFE YDP in Rathkeale, the Moyross YDP, and Limerick Youth Services and it has been a privilege to witness first-hand the incredible work being done by youth workers to help our most at-risk young people avoid a life of criminality.”
