ONE of Limerick’s most popular environmental campaigns is back for another year.
Limerick Going for Gold 2025 kicked off with a special radio campaign on Limerick’s Live 95 radio station.
The new audio campaign will shine a light on the work of community groups across the city and county working to create a cleaner, greener, more sustainable Limerick to live, work, and visit.
Now in its 15th year, Limerick Going for Gold – funded by Limerick City and County Council in partnership with the JP McManus Charitable Foundation – aims to inspire civic pride and environmental responsibility in local communities across the county.
- External Walls: Up to €8,000 Grant
- Attic: Up to €1,500 Grant
- Cavity Walls: Up to €1,700 Grant
- Internal Dry Lining: Up to €4,500 Grant
Groups participating in this year’s event will be celebrated at an awards ceremony at the Castletroy Park Hotel on October 23.
