IT WAS a week of hellos and goodbyes at Coláiste Chiaráin Croom this week, with the Class of 2025 receiving their long-awaited Leaving Cert results just as the Class of 2031 had their first day of secondary school.
The incoming class of first years were welcomed by school principal Gerard O’Sullivan, teachers, and school staff at the start of the school year.
On the other end of things, it was a memorable day for the outgoing graduates, who waited all summer with trepidation for Leaving Cert results day.
Principal Gerard O’Sullivan expressed his pride in the achievements of the Class of 2025, saying that their ” excellent results are a testament to the hard work, resilience, and dedication of our students, supported as ever by our excellent teaching staff”.
Among the standout performers was Sean O’Sullivan, who secured 625 points. A fitting closing chapter for Seán at Coláiste Chiaráin following his big BTYSTE, EUCYS, and ISEF adventures of the past 18 months.
