LOCAL athletes featured with Team Ireland at the World Masters Mountain Running Championships in Meduno Valley, Italy, this weekend.
Emmet McNamara (Rathkeale/Fethard AC) was a member of the Over 35s selection which secured a magical third place finish.
John Kinsella (Southill/Back 2 Boston Running Club) and Seán Quirke (Bilboa AC), meanwhile, were members of the team which finished fourth in the Over 45s section.
