Man arrested after spate of thefts on outskirts of Limerick city

AN ARREST has been made following a spate of thefts from cars in Castleconnell and Annacotty on the outskirts of Limerick City.

A man in his 30s was arrested and has since been charged with 29 offences, Gardaí said.

Gardaí from Henry Street Garda Station’s Community Policing team and Castleconnell Gardaí made the arrest and the man subsequently appeared before a court in Nenagh. He was remanded in custody.

Gardaí are reminding car owners to make sure their cars are locked, that valuables are kept out of sight, and to report any suspicious activity to the Gardaí.
