Fashion designers called to take part in national design week

LIMERICK designers are being called on to participate in DCCI Irish Design Week 2025.

Now in its fourth year,  the week is a national celebration of design as experience, connection. and innovation, from fashion, architecture, digital design, and sustainable practice.

This year’s theme, ‘The Ties that Tie, and the Links that Link’, is inspired by a quote from William (Bill) H Walsh, founder of the Kilkenny Design Workshops, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.

Funding opportunities are now available for Limerick-based designers for this year.

Applications can be submitted on IrishDesignWeek.ie before 5pm on Friday September 12.
