KING John’s Castle will once again come alive on Friday September 19 as the Sionna Festival returns with a special Culture Night Late programme.
Presented in collaboration with Limerick City Council and the Limerick Arts Office, this free event promises an electrifying celebration of Ireland’s late-night culture, running from 6:30pm to 11pm.
The line-up features some of Ireland’s most exciting contemporary talent. Headliner Sloucho will deliver his trademark blend of glitchy melodies, bass-heavy rhythms and immersive visuals, fresh from his acclaimed Fragments of Eternity showcase in Dublin earlier this year.
Joining him is Dublin singer-songwriter and producer Gemma Dunleavy, whose music draws on the resilience and community spirit of her Sheriff Street upbringing. With her acclaimed debut EP Up De Flats earning a Choice Music Prize nomination, Dunleavy continues to be recognised as one of the country’s most distinctive voices.
Also performing are Murli, known for his sharp lyricism and genre-spanning collaborations, and Kormac AV, whose innovative audio-visual sets bridge live performance with cinematic production.
With free admission and a setting steeped in history, Sionna x Culture Night ‘25 is set to be a highlight of Limerick’s Culture Night 2025.
