A brand new stage school is opening its doors in Limerick and Clare this September, offering children the chance to explore dance, music and performance in a fun and supportive environment.
Stage School Limerick will be led by Ciara Sexton, internationally recognised Irish dancer, choreographer, and educator. Ciara is a five-time World & All-Ireland Champion who went on to star as lead dancer in Riverdance, Heartbeat of Home and Lord of the Dance. She also directed and starred in the Irish dance show Fรกinne รir, which premiered in Ireland before reaching Broadway, and most recently appeared on screen in Disneyโs Disenchanted. Alongside her performance career, Ciara has taught at the University of Limerick and is a much-loved teacher at Scoil Uรญ Nuallรกin. Her debut childrenโs book, My First Book of Irish Dance, was published in March 2025, going to #1 on Amazon.
Joining her is Orielle OโDonnell, a young performer, proficient in all genres of dance, and student of Irish Dance at the University of Limerick. Orielle grew up immersed in singing, acting and dance, first discovering her love of performance at Frontline Stage School. She brings a fresh perspective and a passion for helping children step into the spotlight and find their confidence on stage.
Together, Ciara and Orielle are building the Stage School as a place where children can develop their creativity, gain confidence, and make new friends – all while having fun.
Classes will take place weekly in Ballynanty St Munchins Sports and Social Hub, and Cratloe Community Hall, with enrolment now open for the very first term.
