NINE Limerick students will compete at the WorldSkills Ireland event at Dublin’s RDS this September 17 to 19.
The annual competition is dedicated to promoting skills, apprenticeship careers, and workplace opportunities for young people, and sees talented young people put their skills to the test across a number of categories, including cooking, cybersecurity, mechanical engineering, plumbing and heating, and more.
Competing this year from Limerick, amongst 180 young people from across the country, will be Joseph Collins, Sandali Mahanama, Michael Svirydav, Caitlyn Valerie, Charlie Ward, Adam Harbour, Seamus Houlihan, Eoin Lynch, and Ethan Prichard-Ellis.
