FIREFIGHTERS and Gardaí responded to a fire breaking out on Henry Street this Monday (September 22) morning.
A section of Henry Street, at the junction of Newenham Street and Windmill Street, is temporarily closed on account of the fire.
Gardaí and firefighters are at the scene, tackling a fire which broke out inside a street light.
The road has been temporarily closed until the situation is under control, as there is concern a fire in such close proximity to overhead wires may be a safety risk for members of the public.
