Greek vibraphonist Dimitris Angelakis studied on a Fulbright Scholarship and has performed across the US, Europe, and Asia. Influenced by Tony Miceli and Joe Locke, he’s appeared at major festivals and collaborated with acclaimed artists including Petros Klampanis and Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez. This marks his first Irish performance.

Limerick Jazz Festival presents Rory Conneally Trio / Cormac Kenevey Quartet (Double Bill)

Rory Conneally is an 18-year-old jazz pianist and 2024’s youngest Young Irish Jazz Musician winner. Drawing from Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, and Thelonious Monk, he’s studied with masters including Scott Flanigan and Juilliard’s Elio Villafranca. Joined by Peter Hanagan (bass) and John Daly (drums).
Cormac Kenevey, fresh from collaborating with Guy Barker and RTÉ Concert Orchestra, delivers smooth phrasing and effortless swing. With longtime collaborators Dominic Mullan (drums), Cormac O’Brien (bass), and Scott Flanigan (piano), this stylish quartet presents Sunday standards and more!

Lance Coburn: Since winning first prize at the Tomassoni International Piano Competition, Cologne in 2001, Lance has performed in multiple countries across all five continents.

Revisiting the Banshee
