CLARE Older Peopleโ€™s Council, supported by Clare County Councilโ€™s Age Friendly County programme, will host the annual Health and Wellbeing Age Expo on Thursday October 2 at Treacyโ€™s West County Hotel in Ennis, from 11am to 4pm.

Building on the success of previous years, this free event will feature over 50 services and supports available to older people in County Clare. Exhibitors include the Mid West Community Healthcare support team, Mental Health Ireland, Clarecare, ALONE, Clare Libraries, Local Link, and more.

The Age Expo offers a unique opportunity for older adults to explore resources that promote independence and well-being. Topics covered include healthcare, physical fitness, fraud prevention, advanced planning, and social engagement.

Attendees can interact with professionals, gain insights into health trends, and learn about preventive care. Guest speakers will address safeguarding and fraud awareness, while popular taster sessions return, offering experiences in physical health, technology support, and singing.
