IT IS with an astonishing haul of five medals, Róisín Ní Ríain of Ballyneety has signed-off from the 2025 World Para Swimming Championships in Singapore.

Her podium placings were 100m Breastroke (silver),  100m Backstroke (silver), 400m Freestyle (silver), 100m Butterfly (bronze) and 200m IM (bronze).

Speaking after the final about her five medal haul Ní Ríain said: “To be honest, that was my goal coming here, not a goal that I obviously told anyone, but you know what I wanted to achieve coming here. The time there wasn’t the best, but I suppose it’s just about learning to race all these events at a major like this.”
