DUBLIN band’s first collection features production from Gilla Bandโ€™s Daniel Fox.

Adore have released their debut EP โ€˜BITERโ€™, a biting collection that documents the groupโ€™s evolution since forming in 2022.

The five-track release blends punk sensibilities with crunchy guitar work and a powerful rhythm section, creating what the band describes as โ€œa long lesson in being loud and biting backโ€. The EP combines material written both before and after the bandโ€™s formation, exploring themes around childhood behaviours that persist into adulthood.

โ€˜BITERโ€™ benefits from the production expertise of Daniel Fox, known for his work with acclaimed Irish post-punk group Gilla Band. Fox handled producing, engineering, and mixing duties whilst also contributing stylophone and guitar to the recordings.

Since forming, Adore have built momentum rapidly within Irelandโ€™s alternative music scene. Their 2023 debut single โ€œPostcardsโ€, released through Blowtorch Records, garnered strong reviews from Irish music tastemakers and established the bandโ€™s reputation for their uncompromising sound.

The EP represents a significant step forward for the group, showcasing their ability to channel raw punk energy whilst maintaining songwriting sophistication. With Foxโ€™s production providing a polished yet aggressive sonic framework, โ€˜BITERโ€™ captures both the bandโ€™s live intensity and their growing musical maturity.

Adore play Dolans Kasbah this Saturday October 4.
