LIMERICK City and County Council has been urged to consider putting in another application to the National Transport Authority (NTA) for Drombanna to finish the paths started there in the last few years.
In response to Fine Gael councillor Sarah Kiely’s call, the local authority said that the Roads Department Metropolitan East and Active Travel Department will submit a new application to the NTA for funding to extend the work already done in Drombanna.
“If the application is successful, we will endeavour to carry out the works,” the Council explained.
