Almost 20 fines issued for littering in Limerick so far this year

LIMERICK City and County Council has issued a total of 17 fines so far this year to offenders caught illegal dumping since the activation of CCTV for waste and litter enforcement in targeted sites.

In response to a question from Labour councillor Joe Leddin at September’s Metropolitan District meeting, the Council revealed that four of these fines were issued for illegal dumping at Bring Bank facilities with each one paid in full – โ‚ฌ 150.
