Limerick schools urged to support the superpower of reading

LIMERICK schools and families are being asked to use the superpower of reading to support this year’s MS Readathon.

Now in its 39th year, it is known as one of Ireland’s longest-running charity events, with MS being one of the most common neurological conditions in the country.

Meath footballer Cillian O’Sullivan is backing this years fundraiser, having opened up about his MS diagnosis in late 2023.

Limerick schools and families can take part in this years MS Readathon by registering at msreadathon.ie.

They are asked to ready as many books as possible between November 1 and December 15 while raising funds for the charity.
