ADOPTED Limerick man Cian Foley – a Kerry native but living on Shannonside in recent years –ย  teamed up with young professional Harrions Crowe (Australia) to win the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at the weekend.

Crowe and Foleyโ€™s superb nine-under-par 63 at Carnoustie gave them a three-round total of 33 under-par and a one-shot win.

Son-in-law/brother of previous winners JP (2002/06) and Kieran (2009/14/17) McManus, Foley was making his 12th appearance in the tournament.

โ€œIt was so enjoyable playing with Harrison and we had a great time,โ€ said Foley.
