THE spooky season is kicking off in Croom with the annual Booo Bash.

Organisers say the event is sure to be a “monster” success, with games, dancing, crafts, and plenty of Halloween fun and goody bags.

The bash takes place on October 24, kicking off from 4pm at the Croom Sports Hall.

Patricia Ryan of the Croom Community Centre said “it has been wonderful in past years to see the creativity and imagination shine through with the costumes of the children and even some of the parents and their efforts will be recognised on the day with spot prizes for best dressed”.
