A NEW biodiversity action plan has been compiled by the Glenroe Tidy Towns group, with funding from Community Foundation Ireland.
“Now is the time to act and this plan gives us a roadmap while will guide our actions over the next five years,” the group said.
“The implementation of this plan will give us a greater awareness of the wonderful world we live in and of our role and our ability to improve and preserve this for the future.”
The plan was penned by ecologist Veronica Santorum, who outlined her research and findings at the launch of the plan.
