IT WAS a night of sparkle, celebration and well-deserved recognition as Aiden Ryan founder of Bubble Clean took home the Best New Start-Up Award at the Make It Happen Outstanding Achievement Awards Gala Ball on September 13.
The event held in the stunning Fitzpatrick’s Killiney Castle Hotel in Dublin brought together some of Ireland’s brightest business minds. The awards, created by Limerick entrepreneur Pat Slattery and his wife Donna Kennedy Slattery aim to celebrate innovation, resilience, and the spirit of entrepreneurship across the country.
For Aiden Ryan, who launched Bubble Clean just over a year ago, the award marks a milestone in what has been a journey of hard work, persistence, and vision.
“This award means the world to me and the team” Ryan said. “Starting a business is a leap of faith and there are plenty of tough days along the way. To be recognised like this, in a room full of people who understand that journey, is both humbling and inspiring. It gives us the push to keep growing, keep innovating, and keep making our customers proud.”

A Rising Star in Professional Cleaning
Founded in 2024, Bubble Clean has quickly made its mark as one of Limerick’s most trusted cleaning services. The company specialises in subscription-based window cleaning and gutter cleaning offering customers a reliable, professional, and consistent service all year round.
Ryan’s focus on quality and dependability has helped Bubble Clean build strong relationships with both residential and commercial clients. By operating on a subscription model, the company ensures regular maintenance for customers while offering excellent value and peace of mind.
“From the beginning, I wanted Bubble Clean to stand for trust and reliability,” Ryan explained. “Our goal is to make it easy for people to keep their homes and businesses looking their best, without any hassle.”
Recognising True Entrepreneurship
Event founder Pat Slattery said that Ryan stood out not only for his business model but for his determination and approach to customer care. “Aiden impressed us with his vision, commitment, and the pride he takes in his work,” said Slattery. “He’s not just building a business, he’s building trust in his community. That’s what great entrepreneurship is all about.”
His wife, Donna Kennedy Slattery, added that Ryan’s story reflects the resilience and optimism that define Ireland’s next generation of business leaders.
“So many start-ups face challenges that few people ever see,” she said. “Aiden’s success with Bubble Clean shows what’s possible when you combine hard work, belief, and genuine care for your customers.”
A Journey of Growth and Gratitude
While Bubble Clean is still a young company, its progress over the past year has been impressive. From a one-person start-up to a growing operation with a loyal customer base, the business has earned its reputation through consistency and attention to detail.
Although not a native of Limerick, Ryan credits much of Bubble Clean‘s success to the support he’s received from the people of Limerick. “The encouragement and loyalty of our customers motivate me to keep raising the standard every day.”
Looking Ahead
Winning the Best New Start-Up Award is not the finish line for Ryan — it’s just the beginning. He plans to continue expanding Bubble Clean’s reach while maintaining the company’s focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
“This award is recognition of how far we’ve come but it’s also a reminder of what’s possible when you keep going,” he said. “Bubble Clean is still in its early days and the best is yet to come.”
As the Make It Happen Awards shine a light on Ireland’s entrepreneurial spirit, Aiden Ryan’s success stands as proof that with passion, persistence, and pride in your work, anything is achievable.
