NETWORK Ireland Limerick hosted an engaging talk at the Radisson Blu Hotel Limerick, featuring award-winning leadership consultant Denise O’Brien, managing director of O’Brien Learning Solutions.
The event, titled ‘Follow the Yellow Brick Road: End Second Guessing Forever’, explored the neuroscience behind effective decision-making using Ms O’Brien’s innovative ‘3-S’ model (Signposted Strategy, Supported Execution, Safe Innovation).
Drawing on the Wizard of Oz as a metaphor, Ms O’Brien guided attendees through a journey of self discovery, demonstrating how to harness the intelligence of the head, heart, and gut to make confident decisions in both business and personal life.
Over 40 Network Ireland Limerick members and guests attended the interactive session.
Speaking about the event, Denise said: “I am delighted to present to this vibrant community of self-employed business owners, entrepreneurs, and employees from leading companies around the Mid West region. Decision-making in a world of overwhelm can be challenging, and this is my gift to this group, one that will last a lifetime.”
Denise O’Brien was recently named Network Ireland Limerick Networker of the Year 2025 and Solo Businesswoman of the Year 2024.
She is currently completing her Masters degree in Work and Organisational Behaviour at the University of Limerick and specialises in helping organisations and individuals navigate change and develop strong leadership capabilities.
