New-smart bus service launched in Limerick

THE National Transport Authority (NTA) launched TFI Anseo, a new smart-demand responsive transport (DRT) bus service in Limerick on Monday October 13.

The pilot initiative is part of the NTA’s Connecting Ireland Rural Mobility Plan, marking the third of its kind.

It will operate in Corbally, Mill Road, and Rhebogue providing links to Limerick City Centre and University of Limerick.

Trips can be booked through the TFI Anseo app in advance, which also allows users to request pick-ups and drop-offs anywhere within the service area, offering greater accessibility and freedom of movement.
