Polish-Irish artist Dora Gola will release her debut album Dance with Danger, a bold blend of alt-pop, dark pop and electronic soundscapes on November 7.
The singer/dancer brings her debut album to life on stage this Saturday October 25 at Record Room, The Commercial Bar.
“This album is the result of a journey—one of self-exploration, growth, and the relentless pursuit of pushing my own boundaries,” Gola explains. “Every note, lyric, and moment poured into this project reflects a part of that evolution.”
Dance and movement play a central role in the creative process, infusing the music with physicality and freedom. The result is a collection that feels at once intimate and expansive, like prayers or chants.
Based in the West of Ireland for nearly two decades, Gola recently performed at Electric Picnic and is embarking on her Dance with Danger album launch tour. The album was written, produced and performed by Gola and Darragh Keary. Physical copies are available at live shows or through www.doragola.com.
