Limerick recorded work up for Best Instrumental Album at the Grammy Awards

AN album recorded by Jazz artist Benjamin Boone (saxophonist, composer, and Professor of Music at California State University Fresno) in Limerick is now up for “Best Instrumental Album at the 2026 Grammy Awards.‘Confluence: The Ireland Sessions’ was recorded at  Ben Wanders studio in Limerick with local musicians.

Benjamin announced on his social media, “What a gas to make this music with Jane Fraser Joe O’Callaghan, John Daly, Dan Bodwell, Rory Murphy and Rodrigo Dalla.”

The 2026 Grammys take place Sunday, February 1, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Shortlists for the 2026 GRAMMYs will be announced Friday, Nov. 7, 2025.
