CATHAOIRLEACH of the Cappamore-Kilmallock Municipal District, Cllr Gregory Conway (FG), has expressed his delight at the allocation of €886,176 to the Merchant’s House on Sarsfield Street in Kilmallock under Regional Rural Development funding.

Cllr Conway thanked Limerick City and County Council for its “tremendous” work in getting this funding over the line.

“This funding along with Mayor John Moran’s commitment of €300,000 to develop and restore two sections within the derelict structure of the Merchant’s House is the achievement of a lot of hard work by LCCC and local community groups,” he said.
