AFTER a three-year absence, the Munster Senior Hurling League (MSHL) will return in January 2026.
Cork were the last winners back in ‘23.
The following year, the competition was abandoned after Cork/Limerick was postponed several times and the fixture couldn’t be fulfilled ahead of the commencement of the National League.
In ‘25, the competition did not happen.
The exact format of the MSHL has yet to be confirmed.
Limerick have won this League outright on many occasions, the most recent of which was secured via a 0-27 to 0-18 win over Clare in the 2022 final at Cusack Park, Ennis.
Watched by a huge attendance of close to 8,000, Limerick’s Richie English was selected as Player of the Match.
