HOMELESSNESS and how the children affected by it feel is the theme of a powerful new children’s book from Focus Ireland.
Focus Ireland’s Childers Road Family Initiative Team, in collaboration with Tusla’s Parenting Support Champions Committee, launched It’s Not Always Forever – The Story of Children’s Experiences of Homelessness.
The beautifully illustrated book was written by Focus Ireland staff and illustrated by children who have experienced homelessness.
It gives voice to their stories – full of resilience, emotion, and hope – and highlights the importance of child-centred support services.
