
The Limerick Milk Market returns with its annual Christmas celebration, running from Friday 5th December through to Christmas Eve, promising a blend of traditional markets and community festivities beneath its illuminated Christmas Canopy of Lights.
Saturday mornings will host the Famous Food Market โ Christmas Edition (8amโ3pm), offering seasonal specialities from artisan hampers to Christmas hams and turkeys, with pre-ordering advised for larger items.
Special themed Sundays include a Christmas Art Fair (7th December), Vinyl Record & CD Fair (14th December), and an Antique, Vintage & Craft Fair (21st December).
Families can visit Santaโs LEGO-Style Grotto in the mezzanine area on selected dates throughout December, with bookings available via milkmarketlimerick.ie. The market will also screen animated Christmas films upstairs, supported by Limerick Mental Health.
Notable community events include a Christmas TY Student Enterprise Market on 5th December, featuring up to sixty local schools in partnership with Local Enterprise Office Limerick and WizzKids.ie, sponsored by Arachas Insurance. On 19th December, a fundraiser for Limerick Suicide Watch, sponsored by Lyons of Limerick, will feature live music and festive activities.
The programme begins with November fringe events, including the Christmas Ivory Elephant Market (23rd November), Twilight Thursday Christmas Fun (27th November), and Santa Paws & Christmas Craft Fair benefiting Deel Animal Rescue (30th November).

The market will close its Christmas series with final Ivory Elephant Markets on 22nd and 23rd December, before the last Famous Food Market on Christmas Eve morning (8amโ2pm).
