AIB donated €26,000 to an important Limerick charity through its AIB Community €1 Million Fund.
The fund, which has run every year for the past four years, is aimed at helping community groups and organisations across the country and has supported almost 300 local Irish charities to date so far.
This year, AIB asked customers, the public, and staff to nominate charities for this year’s funding, and it was decided that Down Syndrome Limerick would benefit from 2025 funding.
Down Syndrome Limerick chairperson Michelle Coughlan said: “We are over the moon to have received funding from the AIB Community €1 Million Fund.
This support is essential to creating new opportunities for our children and adults who avail of services at Down Syndrome Limerick.”
