IRELAND’S largest community awards are coming to Limerick this Saturday with hundreds travelling for the IPB Pride of Place Awards.

The annual competition will be hosted by Limerick City and County Council on Friday (November 7) at the Strand Hotel.

It was officially launched earlier this week at King John’s Castle and is organised by peace building charity Co-operation and sponsored by IPB Insurance.

The IPB Pride of Place Awards were established to promote and celebrate the best in community development, recognising the selfless efforts of people making their neighbourhoods better places to live, work, and socialise.
