A CALL has gone out to nominate local Limerick heroes who go above and beyond for their community to be recognised in the BIG Christmas Giveback national competition.
Charities, organisations, and people can be put forward to be in with a chance to win a €1,500 Limerick Gift Card.
The person or organisation with the most nominations in the competition will win a €1,000 gift card, with one person who nominated them also to receive a €500 gift card for themselves.
It has been almost a year since the Limerick Gift Card launched as a joint initiative between Limerick City and County Council and Limerick Chamber to support local businesses across the county.

Over €150,000 worth of cards have been sold to date.
