THE much loved folk trio Amble will headline Live at the Docklands in Limerick on Thursday August 20, 2026, marking a major homecoming celebration for one of the country’s most exciting bands. Fresh off a meteoric rise that has seen them sell out venues across Europe and North America — including a triumphant sold-out show at King John’s Castle in 2025 — Amble continue to captivate audiences with their spellbinding harmonies, poetic storytelling, and raw acoustic sound.

The West-of-Ireland trio have amassed over 100 million streams and built a global following thanks to beloved tracks like “Mariner Boy,” “Mary’s Pub,” and “Lonely Island,” alongside their deeply anticipated debut album Reverie, recorded live together in a circle to preserve their intimate, organic magic.

Returning to Limerick, fans can expect a powerful, emotional evening from a group whose rise feels as heartfelt and honest as their music.

Speaking at the launch, Mick Dolan says, “We are delighted to announce Amble as the first act for Live at the Docklands 2026. Their sold-out King John’s Castle show last year was a landmark moment, and seeing their journey from those early days to worldwide stages has been incredible. Amble bring a rare sincerity and connection to their performances — this Docklands show will be something truly special.”
