ALMOST 50 per cent of people across Limerick city and county tune in regularly to local radio station Live 95 every week.
That’s according to the latest official Ipsos/B+A JNLR radio listenership figures, covering the 12 months to the end of September this year.
According to the statistics, Live 95 broadcasts to 88,000 loyal listeners across the county each week.
Meanwhile, 77 per cent of Limerick adults tune into a radio station every day, which a station director Joe Nash described as a massive vote in favour of the trusted, accessible medium.
Live 95 recently enjoyed success at the IMRO Radio Awards winning two Gold Awards on the night, and hosted its inaugural Best of Limerick Awards which gave listeners the chance to vote for their favourite local business.
