Limerick Scout County awarded almost €150,000 in funding

LIMERICK Scout County has been awarded €148,440.96 in funding from the LEADER Rural Development Programme to support the redevelopment of Curraghchase Scout Centre, a much-loved facility that has been closed since 2019.

This significant investment will play a vital role in restoring and modernising the Curraghchase Scout Centre, ensuring it can once again serve as a safe, accessible, and inspiring space for scouting activities, youth development, and community engagement across Limerick and beyond.
