LIMERICK Labour Party TD Conor Sheehan has welcomed confirmation of Stage Two Approval given to the King’s Island Community Centre by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
“This is something that I have been pushing for a long time. It is vital that this is delivered for the people of King’s Island and I am delighted that Stage Two Approval has now been granted.
The planning application needs to be lodged as soon as possible to allow work to commence on the design and construction phases.
Kings Island Community Centre is at the heart of the area and provides a wide range of services to everyone living in Kings Island and the wider locality,” Deputy Sheehan said.
